How Routes to GPX Works
Routes to GPX uses WebAssembly technology to process your routes directly in your web browser. When you:
- Paste a Google Maps URL
- Upload a KML file
- Preview a route on the map
- Download a GPX file
All of these operations happen locally on your device. No route data is sent to our servers or any third party.

- Route data or GPS coordinates
- Google Maps URLs you paste
- KML files you upload
- GPX files you download
- Personal information
- Account information (no accounts required)
Third-Party Services
Map Tiles: When you preview a route, map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap tile servers. This is a standard map display and does not include your route data.
Hosting: This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser information) as part of their service. We do not access or use this data.
Cookies
Routes to GPX does not use cookies. We don't track you, and there's nothing to opt out of.
Analytics
We do not use any analytics or tracking tools. We have no insight into how many people use the tool or what routes they convert.
Children's Privacy
Routes to GPX does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
